MEDICINE BALL PUSH UP

This is a great tweak for the press up. It will improve upper body and core strength at the same time. Also the lack of stability will help get all those smaller muscles switch on.

  1. place one hand on the med ball and stabilize yourself.
  2. making sure your core is engaged and back straight lower yourself down until the arm on the med ball is 90 degrees.
  3. to add to the challange you can raise one foot off the floor.
  4. push yourself up in one smooth controlled motion.
  5. try 6-8 reps on each side.
